Acoustic/Electric Guitar

What is it all about???
The guitar is without doubt the instrument at the heart of most of the popular music of the 20th and 21st century. And you are reading all this because YOU want to play it. Whether you just want to strum the chords of 'Hotel California' on your acoustic guitar or you may want to play 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' on your electric guitar, School of Symphony will provide you with all the insight into playing guitars and playing them well. And now with our new regular course you can also learn to play western classical.

Course Options

REGULAR ELITE COURSE

Concept - To become a quality guitarist you need time and patience. Whatever comes with patience, practice and constant efforts is always great and also everlasting. This course module will aim at making you achieve great heights in music. You will be taught music in detail with the theory (reading music using staff notations). Now if you ask the question "How much time will I take to play like Eric Clapton?" then it is a wrong question. That is why there is no fixed duration in this module.

Frequency - 4 practical and 2 theory lessons every month

Batch Strength - Individual or group classes (depending on fees structure)

Duration - No fixed duration. Whenever you are able to complete one grade you can clear the exam and move on to the next.

Add-ons - We will be providing you all the reference material like workbooks, CD's etc. free of cost. You will also be given free workshops on music theory and other music related topics every month.

Fees Structure / Rules and Regulations

Certification - Certification from ABRSM, UK after clearing the exam.

"Our regular course student Yash playing 'Stairway to heaven guitar solo' by 'Jimmy Page'. Well Done Yash!"

CRASH COURSE

Concept -  Now this still remains our USP. No one can teach you guitar as fast as us and that is a guarantee. This is suitable for people who don't have much time to complete the entire course and clear all the grades. We will be doing only practical aspects of playing guitar not going into theory of music. After the end of beginner level crash course you should be able to play most of the songs on the rhythm guitar including all the complex barre chords. In the intermediate level course we will be doing scales and focus on playing solos. We will also teach you music composition and taking out chords.

Frequency - 4 practical and 2 theory lessons every month

Duration -  3 months for the beginner level and 3 months for the intermediate level.

Batch Strength - Individual or group classes (depending on fees structure)

Certification - After each level you may give an examination and get a certificate from School of Symphony based on your performance.

OUR SUGGESTION

We would recommend the crash course module to you if you want to learn quickly without going into theory of music and reach a certain level so that you can play for fun. But if you want to learn guitar seriously and in great detail then we would strongly recommend you our regular elite course module.

Did you know???

Throughout most of his adolescent life, Kurt Cobain (lead vocalist and guitarist, Nirvana) had battled depression and pain due to a chronic stomach condition. Because of stomach problems he blamed on the stresses of performing, he self-medicated by use of heroin. This use developed into an addiction, which he battled until his death on April 5, 1994 at the age of 27. Cobain is widely believed and is legally recognized to have committed suicide with a shotgun his best friend Dylan Carlson bought for him. Dylan Carlson was rumored to be the inspiration for the song " In Bloom". Kurt Cobain's body was discovered three days later in his home by an electrician who had been commissioned to install security lighting. Toxicology experts have stated that even though Cobain's tolerance level was extremely high, the amount of heroin injected into his body would have been enough to kill him (225 mg, three times the lethal dosage for an addict, 75 times the lethal dosage for a non-user). His death triggered several copycat suicides, and the unclear circumstances surrounding it inspired a multitude of conspiracy theories stemming from the investigations of detective Tom Grant.
