Details of Course

For learning guitar in your own company, we have a guitar package available for beginners which will teach you everything about playing rhythm guitar. It is a complete 15 class CERTIFIED course at the end of which the student will be able to play any song on the guitar, take out chords of songs on the guitar, compose his/her own stuff on the guitar. We will also cover "Introduction to reading music". Classes will be held just once a week (This is because in one class the student will be taught so many things that he/she will need at least 6 Days to practice). So it is approximately a 4 month course.

Investment

The investment for this course will be Rs. 3450 per student (for a batch of 8 people) which is to be paid in 2 installments:

1. Rs. 2500 on the 2nd class
2. Rs. 950 on the 8th class
So effectively the first class will be a free evaluation class.

(The total investment includes our "Workbook on Reading music" and other reference material)

Requirements

We will provide all the guitars for the evaluation class. But after the 1st class, all students must buy their own guitars.

FAQ’s by individual students:

Question 1) If I have not been exposed to music ever before, will I still be able to learn guitar in 15 classes?

Ans: This course is meant for beginners in every sense. Everyone is able to learn it in 15 classes and you will not be the first one. In fact generally it takes around 13-14 classes to learn it and we keep the last ones as ‘Just in case’.

Question 2) What if due to some reasons we are not able to take class in a particular week? Will it still be counted?

Ans: If your entire batch decides not to keep a class in a certain week, then that week’s class would not be counted. Although you should try your best to keep a class only when the entire batch is ready, but if still you miss out a class alone, then we will try to personally give you extra time the next week.

Question 3) Will it not be difficult to learn in a batch of 8 people?

Ans: It would not be difficult at all as personal attention will definitely be given to each student. In fact it is better to learn in a group so that you can benefit from other students by interacting. It also gives you an idea on how other people are progressing.

Question 4) Is there any trial class?

Ans: Yes. The first class can be treated as an evaluation class where you can get a feel of how the classes will be held. You can refuse to join even after taking the first class without any questions being asked.

Question 5) Do I need to buy a guitar?

Ans: You can take the evaluation class on our guitars. Although it is a must that after the first class you buy or rent a guitar. In the evaluation class, the trainer himself/herself will guide you on how to buy a good guitar.

Question 6) What will be the duration of the class?

Ans: Officially it is 60 minutes but generally does get extended. So take it to be approximately 90-120 minutes.

Question 7) Will the focus be on western or Indian music?

Ans: We would try to teach you guitar as a whole. Although 60% focus will be on the western music, but for the other 40%, you will learn many Indian bands songs where guitar is a prominent instrument (eg. Jal, Strings, Indian Ocean, A.R. Rahman, Junoon, Euphoria etc.).
